WORDS, GRAPHICS AND STORYTELLING
Throughout my career as an award-winning reporter and editor for daily metropolitan newspapers in the West, and then as a museum educator, and science illustrator, I’m brought my expertise in writing to any project. After transitioning from more than a decade as a reporter, I’ve worked as The Pew Staff Writer at the Denver Art Museum, grant writer for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, consulting exhibit label writer for the CU Museum of Natural History, and as Exhibit Developer and lead rewrite editor for the Longmont Museum and Cultural Center.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Within the School Programs Department at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Jenn and I worked together for four months on a large grant-writing project. Her research was thorough yet easily digestible. Jenn’s writing skills, as well as her collegial teamwork with multiple parters at Denver-area school and cultural institutions, turned our program ideas and concepts into a compelling narrative. This was an early but critical step ultimately leading to a $3.27 million National Science Foundation (NSF) award establishing the Metro Denver Urban Advantage program that now reaches hundreds of students and teachers in the Denver-Metro area.
